Woke up with wet underwear not soaked just real damp. No smell and no color, clear. How do you know for sure?

pregnantegyptian - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) some times it can be urine or discharge...i just went to the hospital because i thought my water broke but they just told me it was discharge and that i had a UTI. Go to your doctor and get that checked out.

Mommyof2boys - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your water will have a sweet smell to it if its urine it will have an amonia smell to it. Its normal for our discharge to get watery towards the end. If it continues triqling out I would make an apt, to make sure your not leaking amniotic fluid.

Debra - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) YOu can leak and not have water gush out all at once. If it did not smell like urine or sperm (if you've had sex the night before) then its probably amniotic fluid. You should call your health care practitioner. You will need monitoring and if your contractions don't start soon, they should be inducing you. When there has been a leak of fluid, you become more at risk for developing infection.

I found close to the end I got gushes of discharge that was clear and unscented and I kept getting my hopes up but I knew it wasn't enough liquid to be my water.

skittles0607 - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It could be the start of it. When my water brokew ith my second it was a gush of warm liquid. I was having alot of contractions with mine. Walk around for awhile it may get it going..

agonzales - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first mine leaked alittle at first then all of a sudden I was soaked. It also had some clearish pink goowy discharge.. sorry tmi. When my water broke with the second baby it just leaked little by little. I had no contractions but I knew it was my water cause it couldnt have been pee lol. Both times it also didnt have a smell. If you keep leaking then go to the er or call your doctor. You're probably in labor.

karenc - 72 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) yep, as corrin said below, there should be continued leaking, often spurts now and again. when my water broke I soaked thru maxi pads (tmi, sorry) on the way to the hospital.
