captshelley - 70 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 4 1/2 months

mcbender3 - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son slept in our room since the day he came home and we tried to put him in his crib at around 4 weeks old, It was a success until I went back to work when My son was 6 weeks old. Then hubby took him out and slept with him on our bed and now at a year old and another baby due when he is 14 months old, I said enough! Now he sleeps in his crib, he does very well although he falls asleep in our room then I move him when he sleeping.. it's a hard transistion for not only my son but also for us because I find myself checking on him all the time, I can't sleep well without him in our room lol

christina1984 - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my dawas to big for the bassinet by 4 months so i put the crib together and started putting her in her own room. she was fine, but even with monitors i found that i couldnt sleep with her in the other room lol

Baby3OnWay - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) First one was near 4months old and the second one would have been the same... but we move to a new place so he will be more near 7months!! EKKK we just didn't have the extra bedroom but have his crib in our room!

littlecavalier - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son slept in a bassinet in our bedroom for the first five months. I hadn't planned on keeping him in our room for so long but I just loved watching him sleep and being able to peek at him in the middle of the night when I woke up. It was definitely for my own comfort more than his. I started putting him in his own bedroom when napping became difficult. He was getting to used to me being near him all the time and didn't want to nap unless I was holding him so I knew it was time. If you're nervous about it and you have the means I hugely recommend a video monitor. My son is 8.5 months and I have to admit that I'm a little addicted to watching him sleep. It is by far my favorite baby item.

jessicadarling - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My first baby slept in a basinette near me for about 4 weeks. For the last 2 weeks she has been sleeping in her crib and then we feed her in her rocking chair and then right back into the crib, unless it is a fussy night and she comes and cuddles with me

KarenVG - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think you will know, each is different, my first was not in our room but right next door, Our second was in our room for about 2 months, but she would wake easily when my husband got up and so we felt it was better to move her to her crib in her room then. I would say by the time they can sit up you would need to, or if they are great sleepers and sleep all night then it could be right for you then.

2xmom - 72 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Our baby's bedroom was just across the hall, so he started out in his own room. He has been doing fine sleeping in there, we have no problem hearing him if he wakes up. I don't think it matters the age so much...maybe matters more the location of baby's room, and the comfort level of the parent,of if there's any special needs of the baby.
