my lil girl is 4 months old and she has been passing more stools than normal about a week after i started her on goodstart formula which was one week after she turned three months.is this normal or should i see a dr.Oh and the consistency varies from loose to pastey.

My doctor told me only to worry if the stool is very dark in color like blood or dried blood or if the stools are coming out in pellets. Otherwise, her poop will and should change from time to time. If you are concerned then I would call the doctor just for some peace of mind. Also, I found this out...if you call the doctor with poop problems then they'll ask you to bring all the poop in.

I think shes ok... shes getting more food now and maybe digesting it differently then her last food. Give it a few days and if you are still concerned talk to your Dr.

I would say you should only be worried if it is obviously diarrhea. IF not then it is completely healthy to get 2-6 poops a day. Diarrhea is obvious because it will be extremely water and if it has absorbed into the diaper there will be a water ring around it. Other than that enjoy that she isn't constipated and gassy

you shouldnt be worried unless she stops gaining weight.... babies stools are constantly changing
