my 8 month old had a weird bowl movement today. it was really really redish orange. and the only thing she had that color was not even one oz of koolaid completely diluted with h2o. can that actually make her poo change color that fast? it was only one bottle bc i ran out of juice

MelissaJoanne - 83 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) What a cute baby! The weird colour was almost certainly from the koolaid. As Debra pointed out, it really is just full of sugar and chemicals, and your baby's system can't really process that. Breastmilk and water should provide plenty of liquid, without any of the extra junk that is no good for her body anyway.

christina1984 - 83 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) at that age u will notice they poop the colors of the rainbow lol. its nothing to be concerned about, it most likely was that tiny bit of juice. ive seen all the colors, green orange even a purplish looking color lol

Debra - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) babies don't actually need juice either at this age. Much better to give straight water or milk. Save the juice for later on in her life. Kool aid especially is full of chemicals and sugar. If you must give juice at this age, it should only be 100% juice. NO additives, no extra sugar, no Corn syrup!

jaydsmom - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That is most likely what it is! Your baby's tummy isn't used to that type of additive, so it really probably ran right through the system...
