I am almost 26 weeks. Earlier this week my guy was moving alot, now he seems to have slowed down. Is this normal?

Baby3OnWay - 113 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its normal... may be a rest period for your baby. YES they have those!! haha

captshelley - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes babies have lazy days just like us

babyangel - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The most important thing for you to do is be aware of your body and your baby and his/her movements. Do kick counting ask your Dr. the way he or she would prefer you to do this. My Dr. told me to lay on my left side for an hour do not let anyone bother you and count the kicks within that hour, 10 kicks is usuakky what they tell you to look for. While it is true the bigger your baby gets they have less room to manouver this should not give way to your cautiousness. Consult your Dr. on the kick counting methods and always be aware of the movements throughout the day also.

MelissaJoanne - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) He probably got himself into a position where either you don't feel him as much, or it's just not as easy for him to squirm around. He'll have periods of inactivity, mixed with times of partying. :-)

kater - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i found my baby does this too, sometimes hes very quiet, then he'll wake up and it feels like he is break dancing in there! i have been told though, not to worry about kick charts until 30 weeks, because its so normal to have different levels of movement before this

asutori - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Perhaps you should try the 10 kicks an hour test... as long as you still feel the little one moving around, you should be ok and from some moms I've heard that their babies calmed down as time went on.

christina1984 - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) im guessing it can be normal as he starts to run out of room in there. im 27wks 2moro but my little girl is having a party in there still.

monica9 - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) he probably just changed positions and its harder to feel him where he is now. It happens a lot in the next 14 weeks. if you are really concerned and dont feel him for a while more then call doctor just for reassurance.

Tonya- - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was getting worried to i will be 25 weeks on sunday there are days were he will move all day long and then hardly anything for a couple of day i hope you find something out

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I don't have an answer for you, I was wondering myself! Just wanted you to know you aren't alone! I will be 26 wks on Sunday - he moved all week up until yesterday. Last night he didn't move much, and he has only bumped around a slight bit today. :(
