im 10 wks. and i go back to the dr in 4 wks. then ill be 14 wks. duh! lol. but uhm, my next dr visit, im suppose to have a sonogram. do you think it would be possible to tell what my baby is then? or is it not even possible at 14 wks??

MelissaJoanne - 52 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Possible, but not probable. Even if you get a very good view, you probably won't have a reliable answer until closer to 18-20 weeks. I had a U/S on Tuesday (at 17 weeks), and my little person was VERY cooperative, so I'm pretty sure of the gender. I'm not really putting my full weight on it until my 20 week scan confirms it though. I've heard that at 14 weeks there is about a 50% accuracy rate with sonogram gender prediction, which is not much better than a guess! Good luck mama!

agonzales - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Some ppl said they found out that early but I guess it depends on the doc or tech. I had a scan at 13wks and doc said it looked like boy but then said again it could be the cord. I just had my 20wk scan and it looked like a girl then he tried again and it looked like boy but he wasnt sure. So he gave me 60% girl lol which doesnt tell me much. Soooo we have no idea. You could ask but its not for sure they will be able to tell you that early. It would probably be better to wait til later to be sure.

Baby3OnWay - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think its best to wait a little longer! Here they usually wont tell you anything until the 18-22 week scan becuase thats when it is most accurate! You may get lucky but don't count on it!

Julianna - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doctor saw my baby's sex at 15 weeks 4 days. He was 80% sure it was a boy but gave the disclaimer that it might have been the cord hanging between its legs. It is "possible" to find out that early, but no probable that it will be with 100% certainty. I'd wait until 20 weeks to be certain!

vikki - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's POSSSSSSSIBLE but don't get your hopes up. Baby could be in the wrong position and being still quite small they need the EXACT correct position to tell. Good luck:-)

jessicadarling - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is possible, the people I know who found out that early found out because they were having boys and they could see the developing boy parts. BUT if you don't see anything it doesn't mean you are having a girl because it is really early and things may just not be visible yet

BoyStruckX2 - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had my first scan at almost 14 weeks and the baby was only 3 inches long. They really cant see that detailed at that point. :( I had to wait until 22 weeks
