don't stress out about it sweetie, the hormones are going to make your life a living rollercoaster ride. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions like you needing to be on medication or anything like that, just take it one day at a time. Believe me, I am 38 weeks on sat. and I had plenty of bad days where I just didn't feel like doing anything and didn't really feel like myself. odds are huney that it will pass, and you will start seeing the good in things again, once your hormones get back in check : )

Feeling moody while pregnant is totally normal, so is crying at the drop of a hat....men can't carry a baby and don't always understand the influx of hormones we women receive during pregnancy so I'm sure if you told him how you felt he'd be more understanding. Also, if you don't wnat to leave the house anymore and you cry all the time, feel like you can't function, and have severe mood swings, then you could be a candidate for post partum depression.....I also dealt with it during my pregnancy with the twins and then afterwards as it lasted for more than several weeks. It took me three months to finally go to the doctor and now I am on Wellbutrin, perfectly safe for women nursing babies, and I FINALLY feel back to normal. Good luck!

i sometimes feel like u do. i wouldnt say it's som, ething u should be stressing urself about. its not good for u. id suggest either talking with ur partner or maybe even ur midwife - i had a word with mine - my partner comes to all scans but not general midwife check ups - i was blubbering away like a looney for 20 mins and after id got the little things off my chest - like how he annoys me with leaving his socks on the floor etc and the big things like im scared (im having twins and 25) then i felt much better.... i talked with my partner and he now understands that although im a bit mental sometimes its best to let me talk and not interupt and then let me go for a shower or bath and just relax.... hopefully this makes u see that ur not alone and that all pregnant ladies can be a bit nuts at times - apparently it dies down in the middle and comes back a little again towards the end!

I was the same way and its even worse during the pregnancy. Talk to your doctor and maybe they can put you on some medication.

I felt that way with both of my pregnancies and before that. I am usually the most outgoing person, but all the sudden a few years ago, I developed a social anxiety and was not comfotable being around anyone or leaving the house. I have been on Zoloft now and during my first pregnancy and it helps wonders. Talk to your doctor about it. You might just need a little boost for a while. Hope everything works out :)

Hi,
Talk it out. Have you spoke to your partner about how your feel?
You need his support, which he can only give if you're open with him. If you don't have a partner, look for support elsewhere, work through your fears and worries about the future with your friends and family and us!
You need to talk to doctor and midwife about this!
Take care and good luck!
