I am 15 weeks, and for the past week and a half, I have been experiencing pain in my outer vaginal area, (sorry if this is too graphic) like muscle cramps or pinching. I guess it is sort of a pressure-like feeling, but more on the outside. It`s especially bad when i sit or bend over at the waist, but I can feel it when I`m just standing, too. It`s kind of like the feeling you get when you sit for a really long time in tight pants, but it happens regardless of what I`m wearing. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this and/or know what causes it?

Totally normal, most women have the same thing they just don't tell anyone else I guess from embarassment? Anyhow, it is from the pressure of the extra weight. I find a warm bath and some time off my feet really helps.

i had those too. it hurt me so bad i was in tears everytime it happened! but a warm bath and so tylenol helps. my doc said it was my body making room for the baby so i dont worry much about that pain anymore. :) hope all goes well and ps i like your babys nose!

yes it is normal - you will feel all sorts of quirky ailments along the way. the only true times to be concerned are bloody show and contractions that you feel strongly in your belly and back. take a nice warm bath. as for what it is..i would say just increased pressure due to the weight of the baby, placenta and expanding uterus.
