baby clothes Added: 1356 days ago. Added by: agonzales Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
Just wondering if you think it would be a waste to buy 0-3 months clothing since they grow out of it quick? Should I just buy mostly 3-6 months?

I'd say buy 0-3, you'll need them. But don't go all out and get the expensive stuff. Maybe 1 or 2 really nice outfits. for the rest it's so much cheaper to buy second hand. Some things will only be worn once or twice and there are some really nice second hand baby shops that carry name brands and also brand new clothes. And Ebay is awesome for clothes! You can buy in big huge lots.

My daughter weighed 7lbs 6ozs and the 0-3 months clothing was big on her. I ended up having to buy some newborn clothes for her.

my daughter is only 6 days old and only weighs 6lbs. 11oz. She fits perfectly fine in the 0-3 months so I dont even need her newborn outfits. The 0-3 are a little big on her and I can see her wearing them for a while. I would definitely invest in some 0-3 but don't go crazy with newborn. And remember, even if they are only in them for a month, you will go through a lot of outfits in those 30 days so you will never have too many.

It really all depends on your baby. My first son grew out of 0-3 in the first month or so, but my 3 month old is still wearing them. I shop at a lot of thrift shops and yard sales now, that way I don't have to feel guilty about buying my boys tons of clothes. haha

some 0-3 also fit better than others. Check out carter's brand that has longer torso for onesies and please mum for pants. My boy was in some 0-3 and 3-6 at the same time. If your kid will most likely be in the 8-9lb range, plan on getting more 3-6 but buy some cheaper 0-3 month clothes to fit for the first 6 weeks or so.

no girl, you should buy a couple 0-3 u dont want your baby looking silly in too big of clothes. but yea 3-6 would be good, just get a few 0-3.

They will go through all of them so fast, it will all feel like a waste! They grow so fast! It just depends on the size of the baby. Some babies can wear 0-3 longer than others.
