Has anyone heard of a paternity test being wrong? My cousins test results say that the baby is not her x-boyfriends but everyone think that the baby looks just like her x-boyfriend.

Julianna - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Paternity is most often nearly 100% conclusive unless the individuals who may be the father are related...then it could be a little less conclusive. If they are unsure maybe she should request another test and involve the other individual (s) who might potentially be the father also

xidja - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've always heard paternity to be quite conclusive. Just because the baby looks like the ex boyfriend doesn't necessarily mean anything-ya know? Sometimes babies take on features of family other then the mom and dad. I doubt it could be wrong but if their is another dad in question have him tested too or re-do the ex boyfriend. Go with what the moms heart is telling her.

agonzales - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Ive heard of a case where this mother had some kids and they thought she kidnapped them and werent her kids cause the test came out she wasnt the mother. They had to video tape one of births to prove she was the mom and they did a dna test on that baby and it came out she wasnt the mom again. Came out her dna was obviously different than the children and it was a rare case of some kind of disorder or something. Not sure what it was called but I guess you can say its rare but can happen. Good luck and I hope you all figure it out.

bigmuma - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They had cases in australia where the tests got bungled. If she doesnt think its right tell her to get another. Was there another guy whos it could have been?

JennSever - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if done by a official lab. then the chances are slim to none that they are wrong. paternity is 99% accurate.
