my girls out there..i need some advice!! my 7 month old started solids 4 weeks ago..she loved it initially and now she seem only interested in fruit and cereal..carrots , sweet potatoes,potatoes,squash..she used to eat it all and since 3 days she is freaking out on me like you haven`t seen before..if i give her applesauce to calm her down she loves it..if i sneak a soon of veggies in..hell breaks lose..i don`t want a fuzzy eater and get her hooked on sweet stuff..i prepare all the food myself...what should i do???anyone having the same problems???thank you for your help!!lol

christina1984 - 1352 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it sounds like she knows now what the good stuff is lol. my daughter did that too. try sneaking things like butternut squash into mashed potatoes. u can sneak any veggie in mashed potatoes and they dont know the dif. i still do that with my 3 yr old 2day. i saw a thing on opera and there is a book out on hiding any veggies into things they like without them knowing. even at 7 months u can start hiding the good stuff into what she has deemed her good stuff. also make it fun for her while offering her plain old veggies.

Its-Chelle - 1352 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yeah you could try to mix it..my son did the same though, he liked everything, but few months later he started to not like certain things anymore..ws the same with table food,he would eat a great variety, then all of sudden months later he got picky..and wasnt eating hardly anything, but once again that changed and now he is eating good again..expect the changes and just make sure to keep trying or introduce new things she may like instead..good luck

littlecavalier - 1352 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Definitely mix the veggies in with fruits or with the sweet orange veggies. I make all of my sons food as well and freeze it all in ice cube trays so I will give him one cube of green beans (not because he's a picky eater but because too much makes him gassy) into a bunch of cubes of squash or sweet potatoes and fruit. I've never had to deal with a picky eater as my son eats everything! This isn't exactly pertaining to your question but one of my sons favorite things is half of an avocado and half of a banana mixed together, he loves it and avocados are extremely nutritious. Good luck!!

corrin - 1352 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) lol...well not really funny for you..sorry...this is why imn ot giving my son fruits i dont want this...hes fussy enough!!! and everyone calls me crazy for not giving him fruit...i thik it this way..if i had a choice between fruit and peas....def fruit!!! i dont think ill give my son fruit for awhile!!poor kid....but have you tried mixing some veggies in with the fruit..i know it sounds gross but its worth a shot...and justgradually increase the veggies and decrease the fruit....or you could always eat a bit in front of her and show her how good it is and maybe she will take it...good luck with that one though!!!haha fingers crossed something works for you!!!
