My little guy likes to push his feet up against the top of my uterus, so it is pushing my insides up in to my rib cage!! He mostly does this at night when I am ready for bed. Any tips or advice to get him to move? I have tried pushing back, he just pushes harder...I have tried changing positions, and it doesn`t phase him a bit. Help me find some relief!!

When I was pregnant with my twins the little one used to kick my ribs and the big one used to headbut my ribs on the other side, all I remember was poking them back until they stoped it, especialy towards the end as it was very uncomfortable, hope this helps.

Its weird how babys love the ribs! Maybe we should get toys for them that look like ribs when they are born lol...My first baby had his feet stuck in between my ribs for 3-4 days in the same spot and wouldnt move. I couldnt move onto that way at all and i suffered so bad. We tried to push him down and i did everything i could think of. It was so bad he would also kick there and just keep his leg there well at the end of the 3rd day that spot bruised and even my skin was dark there. I cried and i was even angry at him! And its weird after i got done crying my eyes out and feeling very angry and frustrated he moved! I will never forget that. Good Luck, maybe you need to cry lol. I was 36 weeks by the way.

I know it sounds weird, but when my daughter did the same thing (and she did it often) I would go swimming at my local indoor pool and just relax. The water seemed to relax her too and she would drift off to sleep and I could go home and get a little rest too. Hope this helps, but just remember that means you have a strong, healthy little person in there and if need be just grin and bear it like the rest of us sometimes have to. No one ever tells you how much being pregnant can hurt and how exhausting it really is!

I used to have a shower and get on my hands and knees and do pelvic tilts. I found that helper her to move around a bit.

nope. Hope he goes to sleep! It gets worse as he gets bigger too! I loved it (sarcastic) when he got his feet stuck under my ribs and would shuffle down the ribs as he got himself unstuck. lots of fun!

He runs the show these days. Not much you can do. Try and push him down, but it's only temporary.. have to try and find a position that is comfy...

I hate to tellyou hun but you are just stuck withhim doing this until he drops more than ikely. Now my hubby could get both of ours to move when he would lightly push into them a little from the top of my stomach try it but I hope you rest soon!

Hee hee to cute! I'm having a boy too! I've been feeling things that are simalar but I'm only 20 and he isn't too far up yet, I would hope that sleeping sitting up a bit might help and while sitting for a while resting your arms over the top of you belly to try to push him down a bit I did it with my girl and I never have any problems. I found that my posture was a bit more up right then to while sitting. Good luck! I'll check in on what everyone else has for advice it could come in handy!
