Has any ever heard the wives tale that if you get a dark linear nigra that its usually boy and if its light or you dont get it its a girl? True or untrue for you?

Debra - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had it run all the way and I had a boy. I can still see it and its been 6 months. Midwife said it can take up to a year to fade away. Also that it is believed to be a guiding line for a new born baby to find its way to its mother's breasts! How cool is that?

sugarmomma - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yep I heard the same as DANAH... pubes to boobs means its a boy... pubes to naval means a girl. Never heard anything other than biological reasons for it being light or dark. Mine is very dark, runs from pubes to boobs, and I'm having a boy. My first pregnancy, the line was also very dark but only ran from pubes to naval, and she was girl.

danahlovesdoug - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The one I heard is if the linear nigra is from bellow to the belly button its a girl and if it goes from down bellow all the way up the belly past the belly button (to almost the ribs) its a boy, I never had a boy but so far all the girls had the line only to my belly button?? who knows
