reila - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Thank everyone, I went to the ER to make sure everything was okay, the cervix was closed, they did a test to make sure it wasn't amniotic fluid. I have an appointment soon with my Obgyn for a followup to make sure everything is okay

Debra - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Amniotic fluid does NOT smell. If there is an odor, it should only be discharge. At 15 weeks, your body will start to leak more and more discharge- and some days you may even find you have to change your panty liners several times. Its due to hormones and increased maternal blood flow, but you your mucous membranes will swell and increase in size, even your labia will start to get larger. THis is all normal. If you are high risk though or experiencing cramps- i'd consult your doctor, not us. I am an RN though- but without examining you i can't say for sure what it is. BuT increased discharge at this time and for the rest of your pregnancy is VERY normal. I think Jenny McCarthy describes has a chapter on discharge in her book 'Belly laughs' called, "Niagra in my pants"

tirednpreggy - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If you suspect you're leaking fluids you should go to the hospital, NOT be asking us. It's important not to delay and worry over what may be nothing - either way, we're not qualified to diagnose something so important!

Melanie07 - 92 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) If there is a smell to it, it could be an infection. You will have discharge during your pregnancy. I would check with the doc to be safe.

Justintime - 92 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Most get a discharge at this stage of pregnancy. I think yours is fine, I had the same thing a few weeks ago and it was the begining of a yeast infection. If your worried go to the doctor, i would make an appointment, sometimes the ER isnt on top of things they need to do.

ROSYMORENO - 92 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) HEY GIRL IM 17 WEEKS AND I HAD THAT TOO I WAS SCARDE SO I RUSHED TO THE DR AND ALL HE DID WAS PUT A LIL PAPER IN ME IF THE PAPER TURNED BLUE THEN IT WAS AMNIOTIC FLUID BUT WHEN IT CAME OUT IT WAS WHITE SO IT WAS JUS DISCHARGE. SO DONT WORRY GIRL BUT IF U STILL FEEL BAD ABOUT IT THEN JUS GO TO THE DR SO U CAN GET AN ANSWER FROM HIM

agonzales - 92 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) Maybe you should call the doc or go to the er. They can check and see if infact it is your amniotic fluid. Im not sure what else they can do about it but I do know about a girl who had that happen and she had to have her baby early.. really early. So I dont think the outcome is good. But its better to be safe than sorry.

amazingally1974 - 92 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) hi i went for a scan on wednesday and was told my amniotic fluid was low, they said i would have been leeking, i didnt know, they said they cant so anything but keep an eye on me, at my 21 week scan, it is worrying i have read up on it and the outlook isnt good, just keeping my fingers crossed
