If you`ve been immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella (its law for schools here) are you definitely safe from catching it again for sure?
they say if you`ve had varicella (chicken pox) you`re immune from there on out, but i`ve known people to get chicken pox twice.
Someone who my baby`s father currently lives with works in a day care and may have been exposed to measles recently, I`ve been vaccinated but I wonder if i should stay away anyways...
i dont wanna stay away from my bf but if i have to for safety, i will...what do you think?

You should be careful and keep your distance just to be safe. The doc can draw TITERS which checks your defences to the disease. Also most countries do make exceptions based on religious views ans some social views for vaccinating children. So check in to it. Here in the US a school can ask for your shot records but your doctor can write a statement for you declaring you did not have to havr the vaccine administered.

I would call your doctor. I had the chicken pox when I was 30 and my daughter was only 6 months old (she had it too). My case was very mild. When I got pregnant this time, the dr had a blood test for the immunity to chicken pox, and it came out negative, so I can get it again :( Better safe than sorry!

Ypu need to stay away until you have contacted your doctor or health care provider, with the chicken pox vaccine there is a chance to get it still, people have, but not sure about the measles, you should check with the doctor to be on the safe side.
