Can anyone give me the names of some Disposable nappy/diaper alternatives please. I know they are expensive so I thought I should research now so I have enough time to save up! :-)

Debra - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) gDiapers are a good alternative- but my girlfriend used them and complained a LOT about poo leakage. THe outer pants are expensive and dry quickly- but sometimes not quick enough if you don't get the first pair laundered fast enough before baby can soil through the second pair. May be good to get 3 or more pairs outer pants or use when baby hits 15 lbs and in a size that will last them a while longer.

MelissaJoanne - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) gDiapers! (check out www.gdiapers.com). They are the best environmentally + baby friendly choice. They consist of an outer cotton pant, a snap in liner, and a flushable insert. I think that they're the only true disposable diaper available. I'd actually be kind of surprised if you haven't heard of them - not many people in the US are familiar with them, but it's an Australian company so you should have easy access to them.

tirednpreggy - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm going to use the BumGenius 3.0 by Bummis... they're ordered now! I did a lot of research and they get great reviews, plus they grow with baby, so no reordering!

windchime - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Not sure what you are looking for... if it's eco-friendly you're wanting, check out 7th Generation. They make a variety of "green" baby items. Not sure if they sell in UK (I assume by your use of the word "nappy" that's where you live), but the US has them. :-)
