has anyone got a Prenatal Heart Listening System from argos if so how good are they and when do you hear the babys heart beat with them

galina - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Starting at around 20 weeks, the fetal heartbeat can usually be heard without Doppler amplification. At this point a fetal stethoscope or fetoscope can be used. It's safe for sure!

RandiLee - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I bought one at 22 weeks, could hear the heart beat....and all his kicks. only used it a handful of times, though.

moms the word - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have never used them except the one the doc uses at appointments. I just don't see how it is beneficial. Normally you should be able to hear a heartbeat externally through a doppler at 10 to 12 weeks pregnant.

Debra - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Just beware of the risks involved with exposing baby to doppler waves. While reasurring to you, baby may be harmed by doppler waves. And like exposing baby to other harmful things- such as avoiding alcohol, sushi, chemicals and more... please think about this carefully before you go and do it. Just b/c its available for purchase, does not mean that its been researched as safe.

mummatobe - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got the angelsounds doppler from the Internet, and was able to hear the baby from about 14 weeks when I bought it. It gave me so much peace of mind. Its only a cheap system - about £28 but it works and we even managed to use it to record the baby's heart on the computer.

SRHMKP - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have the bebe sounds heart listener and even with my last child was unable to hear her heart beat but others who used it could but i did like using it to just listen to what was going on in there i could hear when she kicked or just moved it was great to feel that much closer to her.
