Every pregnany is different, a lot of people dismiss the pokings/bubblings and pass it off as trapped wind, but you know you're body yourself and know what trapped wind feels like and if it was different then HOORAY you felt your baby! I felt mine at 12 weeks, just like butterfly flutters, the nothing at all for over a month. Just the way it is, if you feel later on like a bubble has been popped thats also your baby. Unfortunately at this stage its so slight that your partner cant feel it!!! I had my 20 week scan yesterday and was amazed to see him kicking the crap outta me but because he was on his tummy i couldnt feel a thing. Just think as you read this your baby could be auditioning for River Dance and you'll never know!! Lol!!! x

This my second pregnancy and I am also twelve weeks. I have felt a few butterfly movements myself. Every woman is different and each pregnancy is different. I am not saying you didn't feel movement but I will say that you know your body better than anyone and we all know what gas pain feels like and can distinguish between gas and something we have never felt before. Trust your own instincts but don't be surprised if the doc looks at you like you are crazy if you tell him/her that you are feeling fetal movement. The will probably say it is just gas or your uterus expanding.

Well....you will mostly feel gas and ligament stretching but I seriously doubt it was the baby!

My doctor told me that there's no way I can feel the baby move at this point. I'm 13 weeks and she told me that the baby is just too small to feel and that I'm probably feeling gas.
