How long should I wait

I had a D&C last thursday. I want to know how long should 1 wait to try conceiving again. I havnt had sex since then because my dr told me to wait 2 weeks for my followup. She said she tells most people to wait 2 cycles so it is easier to tell when you get pregnant. I have read that I could try and get pregnant and not get my cycles back. What do you guys think.. I was 13 weeks when we discovered the baby`s heart stopped. It stopped at 12.5 weeks. Let me know..

vikki - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have had 12 losses. Please wait at least 2 months. Your body needs time to "get back in the swing" so to speak. There is healing that needs to be done and it's also good for your own soul's healing. It's not to say that there would be a problem if you feel pregnant earlier than that but I would advise you give yourself the time. I know it is a strong urge to replace what is lost and feel whole again. I truely know what you are going through. Hang in there.xxxx

youngmamiof3 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had my miscarriage in november and im 4.5 months pregnant now so I guess I waited 2 cycles however I think if the moscarriage was do to a chromosome problem (whick is the cause of most) it doesn't really matter because there's nothing that could have changed it and most susequent pregnancys go to term so I would say if that's what happened to you there's no need to wait, also I bought lots of books on miscarriage and they say the same, my dr. Told me to wait 3 months but I only waited two and my little girl is doing great so far :] good luck to you and godbless

mrsbekki - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would listen to your doctor. They know what they are talking about. When I miscarried my doctor told me to wait 1 cycle. (my body took care of the miscarriage natural, no D&C) I listened and got prego the next month. Doctors deal with this stuff more than we do, they aren't going to give you the wrong info.

agonzales - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well when I had a d&c I was told to wait at least 3 months to let my body heal but Ive also heard of women going right at it so they can fall pregnant since thats when they are more fertile. Its up to you but I would say listen to your doc.
