I am 16 weeks tomorrow. The past couple of days I have had alot of cramping. Feels like period cramps that come and go. Is this normal?

Bienks - 122 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Doc says it's part of being pregnant, I have cramps on a weekly basis coming and going ever since I got pregnant im now 28 weeks and still have cramp sometimes daily

moms the word - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sounds pretty normal to me. It is more than likely stretching of your uterus. As long as you are not bleeding, you'll be just fine. Some people feel their braxton hicks contractions like period cramps and others just feel a tightening. If they are BH, it is normal to have them it is just your body getting conditioning your uterus (which is a big muscle) for the work of labor. Drinking lots of water can help to lessen some of the cramps as well. Good Luck!

tirednpreggy - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh yes, I had SO much pain up to about week 20 from time to time - growing pains!

Debra - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes. normal stretching due to uterine enlargement. Please stop by my VIP site for more on what to expect, babycare, breastfeeding, labor etc.

Mrs.M.H. - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's is more than likely stretching ligaments and muscles that hold your uterus in place, it is not comfy but it is usually completely normal and as long as you haven't got bleeding or spotting you are fine! Congrats and welcome to the uncomfortable facts of pregnancy in all it's glory! I lost my last pregnancy and had nothing for signs and so this time I worried about everything that ached and twinged and cramped but I'm now going into week 21!I know when I was 12 to 18 weeks I ached and cramped and I worried but it was totally fine and normal. You will be seeing you bab soon in u/s completely different they what they first looked like (beans in a pod), and it will be poking and prodding you if not now, soon! Good luck, and if it gets bad talk to your doc asap if not it might help to take a warm bath and sleep with pillows between your legs!

mzblondex - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i use to get them too. i asked my dr an he said its normal. that its just the body changing an making room for the baby. that the majority of women say that it feels like youre going to start. an never do. it freaked me out too. but it is normal. you may also feel them around the times you would usually start your period or ovulate. but you wont. some feel the pains after sex, when they are upset ab things like stress or anxiety, so just try to relax bc theres nothing wrong. so many women experience this an have perfectly normal babies. congrats on your pregnancy!! Tonya- - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got those alot it scared me i started getting them around 8 weeks until around 18 weeks i even went to my midwife about them she said that it was normal she said that they would get worse after sex, being stressed out, over doing it or just needing to drink more water best of luck

juliealisesmommy - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) your baby is prolly just growing any kind of cramps that you have are MORE THAN LIKELY due to your baby growing. you'll get pains all the time from that!!
