my 8 month old has tiny bumps all over her! on her forehead and back and tummy.. is this an allergic reaction?? i had her in the sun yesterday could it be from the sun???

christina1984 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sounds like a heat rash. my daughter got them and still does.

mcbender3 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son has little bumps on his face everytime he's in the heat. THis might just be a heat rash... you have stated that she was in the sun. it can very well be it.

ashley251471 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its heat rash or from ur laundry detergent. my son had the same thing and when i switched laundry detergents they went away!

littlecavalier - 89 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) My son had this also but I'm pretty sure it was roseola. He had a fever for four days before and as soon as the fever went away the rash appeared. The can have it without having a high fever so you might not have noticed if she was just a little warmer than usual. Those are the exact places my son had his rash also. If it doesn't go away within 24 hours or looks like it's spreading you should probably take her to see her doctor. I wouldn't think a baby would get a heat rash on their forehead and not the day after they were in the sun, usually it's pretty close to the time when they were overheated.

Mrs.M.H. - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree with heat rash, my girl was born in Oct. and she was always getting bundled up so warm by family she would arrive swetting and swaggy! It would happen in the summer mostly when she had been covered while sleeping and she would have them all over her belly and around her neck. It looks uncomfy but it usually doesn't hurt them. try using some cornstarch to reduce the sticky part of the over heating it could help a bit with keeping baby cool! Good luck and keep baby out of the direct sun:)

Debra - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) could be heat rash- but that usually only occurs if they were sitting in the sun and or really HOT for a few hours. It would be unlikely that you would let your kid sit in the sun exposed for hours on end and overheat, so.... Have you given her any new foods lately? My son had little bumps under his chin the last two days... i think its from the tofu we were trying. Now that I haven't given him any tofu, its going away. Or... has your child been exposed to chicken pox????

kaylasmommy - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my daughter has those on her chest and back and neck sometimes its just heat rash it will go away. xoxox

corrin - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my son has little red bumps on him ...the doc told me it was just a heat rash nothing big.....i dont know if thats what you have....but just an idea!
