For the past several days I feel I`ve been experiencing groin pain. Its not in my abdomen at all its in the muscles high in my legs that are next to `down there`. It only hurst when I get up from sitting or move around a lot. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know if its pregnancy related? Not sure if it matters but I`m 20 weeks and I`ve gained about 13 pounds or so.

monica9 - 122 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) a lot of woman complain about that especially later on in pregnancy. it is perfectly normal and will go away after birth.

Rhonda Lynn - 122 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It could be SPD. I was just diagnosed with it last week. I have very bad pelvic pain due to the ligaments have already started to loosen. ( making the pelvis unstable) Nothing they can really do for it. I am trying a suport belt that seems to relieve it a smidge... If it continues or gets worse see your doctor. They need to know, even though they can't really "treat" it. But the good news is SPD really doesn't effect your pregnancy..
