DId the membrane sweep work for you??

I am getting a membrane sweep tomorrow when I visit my midwife and I had this in my previous pregnancy with my son and it didn`t do nothing!! =[ I am hoping this starts something for me tomorrow. How many of you ladies had this done and it was a sucess?? How long after did you give birth?? If it wasn`t sucessful for your first pregnancy was it sucesful for the second one?? Thanks!! =]

moms the word - 118 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had it with my first baby and it didn't help me at all either. I would suggest having sex with your boyfriend or husband after the membranes are stripped. The semen contains hormones that can trigger changes in your uterus like contractions or dialation. Good Luck and sorry for the TMI but I have heard that it really works to help get things moving.

blessedmom - 118 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had it with my third, and it worked pretty well , but I made sure that my hubby and I had intercourse soon after to help to process along. I delivered 6 hours later which is pretty quick for me.
