I kno it sounds weird, but i really enjoy mowing the grass...and since i have become prego my bf doesnt want me to because of all the moving and bumping the riding lawn mower does...But during sex you move alot, so what is really the difference. What do you recommend?

Mrs.M.H. - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mom the word is right You are prego not an invalid! It shouldn't be much different that going over potholes in the road!! Hee hee too funny the baby won't just fall out! Like some moms ride bikes and run across streets! that is a bumpy ride too but no harm! as long as you aren't carrying the machine you should be fine! Back when settlers were coming here the women prego or not they would help build things like farms. Go a head and mow, he shouldn't complain! Good luck dear and he is so sweet!

jaydsmom - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It should be fine. I mow the lawn all the time. My husband can only come home on weekends, and I hate to leave it for him all the time. He actually gets mad at me for doing it, which is sweet.

Allioop - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Naw, that should be fine! As long as your pregnancy is healthy you really should be able to do most of what you did as a non-pregnant person! Especially if it's a riding mower! Baby is WELL protected in there! It will probably just put him/her to sleep! That's all!

moms the word - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I say this to my dh all the time "I am pregnant, not disabled!" He won't let me carry in groceries!! As long as you feel ok doing it, then do it! Just stay hydrated and take a break if you get too hot, you should be ok. How sweet of him to worry though. It is nice sometimes to have them care so much isn't it? Also annoying sometimes but I always try to remember he is just concerned for me and the baby and he is doing it out of love for us. That usually keeps me from strangling him when he treats me like a china doll!! Good Luck!

johnsokor - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am 21 weeks prego and I still mow my yard. My Dr. just told me not to over due it and take it easy. My little girl loves the vibration and will move around and do flips. If you are unsure just ask your dr. if it is okay. You are using a riding lawn mower so I don't see any problems I push and that is more work. Well Good luck and happy pregnancy.

Debra - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) As long as you arent' having a delicate pregnancy and you don't have any more contractions, go ahead. Just make sure you are wearing a hat, sunscreen, staying hydrated if you are out in the sun! Stop by my VIP site for more info/tips on pregnancy/Labor/Packing/BF/childcare etc.
