Almost 6 weeks pregnant, my HCG level in 1600`s

I took a HPT 2 wks ago, said BFP, then i started to bleed red for a couple of days, then brown spotting. I thought i was having a m/c. I took HPT Sat it said BFP, went to doc and my HCG is in 1600`s. i go back tomorrow. Has anyone had hcg this low @ about 5wks, and still pregnant?

moms the word - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I cannot say I share your experience but I just wanted to offer my best wishes and prayers for you during this troubling time. I hope things turn out ok, try not to worry till there is something to worry about. That is what my Grandma always said and it has really helped me to stay calm during this pregnancy when I had bleeding (and I mean bright red blood) for a couple of days around my fifth week. Hang in there and hopefully things will get better soon!

Even if it is low, if it is continues to double (which they will see tomorrow when they do another hcg test) than they will know the pregnancy is holding. I think at 4.5 weeks my hcg level was 420. I went back two days later and it was 1200, which showed it was a viable pregnancy. I hope everything is ok :)
