I love him and he loves me but we are just friends that had sex and now have a baby on the way how do I tell him I want more and what if he says no and he is fine with being just friends

kater - 113 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i fell in love with my best friend and ended up marrying him. we were so close, and we talked about how well we got on, and for two years were 'friends' but would often flirt and joke about getting together in the future. well when we did get together, at first we didnt really know how to take it, and were a little scared by the situation, but it just made sense for us to be a couple, as we got on so well, and were attracted to each other too. it sounds like this is the same situation for you too. you could try testing the water, and going around the issue, to see if you can tell if he feels the same way, you could come completely clean and lay your card on the table or you could say nothing and perhaps miss out on a great relationship.

2b - 113 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) first of all, there is nothing wrong with expressing yourself to him but you do run the risk of pushing him away especially since it sounds like this was an unplanned pregnancy. He may think its a great idea but who knows. Whats wrong with just living the way you have been and see what happens. Secondly to ~dawnispregz~ there is nothing wrong with having "friends with benefits" better than a one night stand with a stranger. Everyone needs a little loving now and then.

dawnispregz - 113 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If u both love each other, having a child together, then i dont understand what the more is like summerisis answer. If not living together and u want that then just tell him u want to further on the relationahip and would like ahouse and marriage etc. But im slightly concerned that u classed your relationship as friends that had sex and the result is a baby! I hope for all three of ur sakes that you dont mean that or didnt write it properly. Good luck

summerisis - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i'm trying to figure out what the 'more" is. You have love and friendship. You'll soon have a child together. Do you want marriage? What is the "more"?

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would just say how you feel, bc if you don't later you may wonder what could have been. At least this way you will know for sure. moms the word, that's pretty much what happened to me!

moms the word - 114 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I say just have an honest conversation with him about how you are feeling. Ask him if he can see the two of you ever becoming more than just friends? I fell in love with my best friend too. We lived together in the best friends role for almost six months, slept in the same bed, worked together and everything. One night he just blurted out an "I love you" over dinner. I was completely shocked but I decided to give it a try and here we are twelve years later with a lovely daughter and another little one on the way. Just talk to him. You never know.

bvalley1982 - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) say "i want more." if he says no than accept it because thats all you can do. ...god grant me serenity to accept the things i can not change the courage to change the things i can and wisdom to know the difference...

KarenVG - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If he says no then I guess you'll be friends. You have a right to ask him. He may have feelings that he is not sure how you will react. Just play it cool and see what happens.

masha - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) u say u love him and he loves u, do u mean that in a 'friend way'? if u love him as a friend, and only want more beacuse u have a baby on the way, im not sure thats the way to go. u guys could be great parents without actually being a couple. otherwise, if u truely love him and want to be with him, tell him, ask him what he sees ur future like, and tell him how u see it.

mommy2beoct10 - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would tell him how you feel, but let him know that its fine if doesn't want anything more. And like everyone else said, go on with your lives. I hope you figure it all out hun! Take care

Mrs.M.H. - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Tell him how you feel and if he doesn't feel that way then that's fine too he has that choice right? You don't want to put pressure on him to try to be your boy friend but he might not know how to tell you that he feels the same way already. Don't expert a yes and don't ask for a yes or a possible yes or anything like that because guys under pressure tend to get well shaky specially under serious curcomsances. If it's no than may be not right now and that is fine because you don't have to put him on the birth cert then and you will have all the control in the worst case that things suddenly go South. Good luck and be happy he a friend.

Cindie - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree with scottswife. You'll go on with your respective lives.

gr8scottswife - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) What if? . . . . You go on with your life. He'll go on with his.

brandyg - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Being prego is hard enough, I would tell him. You need to let your feelings be known. Its not good for you, or baby to keep them couped up. It does seem like a hard situation, but he cant be such a bad guy if your friends, so I would tell him. Good Luck!
