I was just wondering what colour people think i should do the nursery. I`ve been told i`m having a girl but its never 100%. I would love to do it all girly but am worried that if it did come out a boy i`d have so much to change so i`m thinking neutral is best. Anyone got any ideas? Thanx

armymom - 111 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I did a warm brown color on the walls.. im having a boy so i accented with green and in a star theme. Im trying to stay away from the typical blue for boys. Brown walls makes it easy to decorate.. just accent acording to the sex.

Spike - 111 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i did mine purpl when i was having my son, i could seee he was definatly a boy, but i was still woried it might be wrong so i figured puple was the go cause it goes with pink and white and blue and and white. i just never liked the idea of yellow (too bright!) and green just doesnt apeal to me ^_^ and white is sooo not good when they are todlers, every single fingerprint will show up (i made the mistake os painting the hall and bedroom doors white, now im constantly removing fingerprints!)

jaydsmom - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Even after I had my daughter I painted a beuatiful pale blue. It is easy to add girly accessories after if its a girl. I got stencil on fairies :)

Debra - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i've heard that yellow paint can be irritating to babies and make them cry more.

laura14 - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i didnt know the sex of my baby until birth...i planned on decorating babys room cream and buying a border girly or boyish when baby arrived and things to match..wall paintings rug, bedding curtains etc. my daughter shares a room with me so it was ok to buy these things when she arrived:) she slept in her moses basket which was neutral next to my bed. it was winnie pooh classic collection. if you want just neutral to get the room finished before baby arrives i think alot of stores now does neutral ranges that might attract you:))theres alot of themes also that can be unisex, that use boy and girl colours so you could try looking that up!! browse the nursery secion here, you might get an idea of what you want:) hope this helps x

RobinG - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Although I knew I did the same for each :) I purchased the bedding after they were born ~ walls painted green (or yellow) so neutral and such an IN color anyhow if the right shade :) Boy and girl beddings both have green in them or go with it ~ or just wait til after. If you get items hold them and receipts just in case you need to exchange. My kids werent in their beds til at least 2-3 they were born. It was fun to make my first big shopping outing to babies r us to shop for them :)
