Has anyone tried out the Implanon contraceptive...if so, did you like it? Comments are welcome!!

Amanda.M - 109 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi,after my 2nd child i got the implanon put in coz i fell preg on the pill, while having the implanon i bled every day for 5 1/2 mths i couldnt handle the bleeding anymore so got it takin out,although 1 of my freinds had it and she said that she bled for 6mths then after that her cycles became normal.

Spike - 109 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) one of my freinds was on this, it did work very well to control unpredictable periods and stopped her from getting pregnant, just dont forget to go back just before the 2 years is up, she fell pregnant 2 months before she was due to get the new one

Debra - 109 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm now on MICRONOR- a progesterone only pill that doesn't affect your milk supply. I started it at 6 weeks post partum. SO far 7 months later, no babies and no period. I've been happy! No mood swings or other bad side effects either.

laura14 - 109 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have this right now, so far its ok, my periods are regular and normal whereas before preg they were all over the place, my first period with it though was horrendous the cramps and so on was bad but its settled down i also get alot of spots with it sometimes when im due a period. but i am totally different on the pill. so it may be diff with you...its worth a try in my opinion and you can always get it removed:)
