I went to doctor last week for my ultra sound and they are concerned about my Placenta and said I need to be checked out again in 10 weeks. I am not sure what this means.. Anyone else with the same problem??

crystal04 - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have the same problem. The placents has thickened big time to where they think the babys not gunna make it. I'm being checked evry week and am suppose to give birth at 6 months. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and the babys growth is at 17 weeks wen we last checked. All I can do is hope n pray for the best n I hope all works out for u. Jus try not to stress too much cus it can only make it worse. Good luck!

mellowyellow - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hey. My placenta was really close to my cervix at the 20 week scan too. I had a re scan at 33 weeks to check the position. If it is too low it can cause excess bleeding (i believe) so may offer a caesar. The placenta tends to hitch up as ur uterus grows tho. On my 33wk scan it had moved right up, and apparently most will. Try not to worry too much;)

Cindie - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well, if it's in 10weeks then it's not a HUGE problem. most of the time the placenta will move out of the way clearing the placenta previa.

cantchacitsme - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sound like its probally just a patial placenta previa, the 10 weeks now is to make sure it move, most previa found this early move on thier wn so theres no reall concern, I was about as far along as you when they found mine and its allbetter now
