Baby shower (sprinkle) invitation wording..

My best friend is throwing me a baby shower for my 2nd child. I am not going to need big items, but will need diapers, bottles, bath stuff, etc. What would be a good way to word the invitation. It could be a baby `sprinkle` instead of a shower. I am expecting a girl and I have another daughter named Alyssa. Thanks in advance!

gr8scottswife - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You could write a poem and in it explain that you need essential items not the biggies. You'd like a shower of little blessings. I know you don't want just one shampoo. It would be nice if you got enough for two years. So, you do want to get drenched with gifts, just not the wrong ones.

dawnispregz - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You could try "Baby Essentials", and then just tell the people that are coming that thankfully you dont need to go through buying massive stuff again like cot etc but they ALWAYS need diapers!! Do it light and jokingly and they'll get the point. X

lizzie287 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Try a diaper party.

summerisis - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'd call it a Celebration of Life and keep the whole "Shower" concept out of it.
