I have been using my eliptical for about a half hour in the mornings. Is this OK do you think?

yes, you can continue exercising until you begin feeling short of breath. Then try something else like yoga, pilates (for pregnancy) swimming etc. Just keep doing something! If you start feeling dizzy or short of breath stop. Drink plenty of water too- you need to drink about 2-3 L of water per day or 3/4 gallon to stay hydrated and avoid early labor. See my VIP site for more on pregnancy/labor/breastfeeding/packing etc.

Keep doing it unless it makes you feel overly tired afterward or you have pain or discomfort. You should be fine.

Yep, it's fine as long as you can still have a conversation while working out. My dr recommends 30 mins of exercise per day, getting your pulse rate up, but not so high you can't talk to someone. Eliptical is awesome b/c it's low impact. Swimming is good too!! And fun. lol

It is and it is recommended! I was told just don't over do it and be sure that you aren't bring your heart rate up too much. If you can't have a steady conversation while you are working out, you are over doing it. Good for you!

Yup - my doc recommends about 30 minutes a day of exercise, and the eliptical is low impact :)

eliptical is a great piece of equipment! Thats what I used up until I moved at 7 months prego. They say swimming pool is excellent as well but it was cold and winter for me and the eliptical was the next best option. Keep up the good work :)
