when i sneeze i get a sharp pain on my left lower side of my stomach. i am almost 7 weeks pregnant. is this normal? it hurts for about 30 seconds after i sneeze

kater - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yep, its completely normal, its called round ligament pain, and HEAPS of pregnant women get it. dont worry though, it does go away, and it wont hurt the baby

jessieeka - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have experinced that all through my pregnancy, mostly when i sneeze, but not that i am 29 weeks it is when i cough to, but so far everything has been fine and the doctor says it is nothing to worry about just from the stretching round ligaments

Spike - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yeah i get that alot too, i suffer from hayfever realy bad this time of year and cause im pregnant i cant take my atihistimines so ive been sneazing like mad! i found that if i hold my tumy, just with one hand and support my lower abs when i do sneaze it doesnt hurt so much.

mommy-of-3 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't worry this is normal, the force from your sneeze pulls on your round ligaments and that is the pain you feel. I am 36 weeks and still have this when I sneeze it hurts I know!...

thunders79 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am now 20 weeks and still get this. I hate it.I keep thinking i am going to pull or rip something. It hurts. I also get it when laying down, if I try to get up too quick. So I guess it is normal.

aringer1 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got that a few times.. one of them made me fly off the couch in pain... but I think they are normal... everything is fine and that was months ago:) Good luck:)

Tonya- - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i get those every time i sneeze and the worse part is it only gets worse the bigger you get

Its-Chelle - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had that too..as a matter of fact i still get that and im not prego..it freakin hurts at times!i hate it

agonzales - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh ya I use to get that in the beginning of this pregnancy when I sneeze. I would have to hold my stomach when I sneeze cause it felt like something pulled and it would sting. I think its normal since I seen other ladies say it happen to them. I sometimes still get it when I get up from the couch or something lol.

daniandbebe08 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I still get it and im 1 day shy of 25 weeks.. Its just one of those joys you get to have while being pregnant! Good luck

babybrendon - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes its fine. the same thing would happen to me. its just your muscles stretching. you may experience it at other times too...like getting out of bed or even off the couch. dont worry though it shouldnt last for too long. atleast it didnt for me.

EniChan - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had the same pain. since other women experience that i guess its normal.

aims123 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i too had this happen throughout the first trimester of my pregnancy and my friend who is now pregnant also gets it. i think its normal, probably down to all the different muscles being stretched ready to carry your baby.
