im 19 years old and im going to get implants, which is more than okay with my husband but i had a question... we want children....about 3 or 4.. would it be better to wait after my children or would it be okay before? because i think they can get stretch marks right? and they`ll still grow even tho ill have implnts right?

i would definitely wait!! before i became pregnant for the first time, i had TINY boobs, the sort where i didnt have to wear a bra,BUT the day i came home from hospital, they were each as big as my head -not exaggerating- from engorgement. if i had had implants as well, i cant imagine how much pain i would have been in, as it was, i couldn't stand any pressure on them, they were so huge i could only cry if so much as breeze touched them. plus i got stretch marks from that pregnancy, so you may just be asking for extra pain if you got them done first.

id wait till after to be honest. is you breastfeed the kids then your breast will change shape anyway, even if you dont breast feed your breast will change shape as during pregnancy your breast increase in size and after your milk comes in and the have to streach again, it can look realy ugly if youve got the implants already cause theres only so much streachiing the skin can do, you will probley get streach markes from it.
its up to you but nearly any dr you ask will tellyou to wait just to be on the safe side, you dont want to end up all sagy and stuff.

difficulty breast feeding, scaring, stretch marks- all these things can and may happen to you and are good reasons to wait till after you have your kids to get augmentation. Your breasts change a lot! during pregnancy. Mine have gone from a 36B to a 38D. I expect to go down again when i'm done breastfeeding. If you really want augmentation, i'd wait till after you are done having your kids and then do some repair work. Do be aware though that silicone implants often rupture and are considered unsafe. You can always tell who has them and they also don't look or feel natural anymore. Boob jobs also tend to flop around funny and look stretched from the bottom up. I've also seen implants that were done 20 years + ago and while the material and procedure has changed, (this was a patient of mine) her breasts had hardend into rock formation and were so severely lopsided (one was about 5 inches higher than the other and rotated to the far left side of her chest). I felt very sorry for her. Just the fact that you can have difficulty breastfeeding after augmentation would be a good reason not to get it done bk.

your breasts can still grow after the implants, and i ahve gone up 2 sizes in 5 months, also as prev mom has said you should really experience breast feeding, and what happens if one them bursts/drops when your pregnant you really dont need to be going through ops when your pregnant due to anaethestic-you cant have any as far as im aware. Your breasts may be fuller after the borth/breastfeeding and you may not need implants after all and if you dont then you have saved yourself $$$$$.If you are totally set on having them done then i would say wait until baby has arrived and then breastfed. You can get stretch marks on your breasts due to the rapid stretch of the skin and the natural collagen and elastin break down, that could happen naturally throughout pregnancy and with implants. x

Implants I am sure are ok after the babies though, that would be my advice but I am no doctor. If you have implants in and you fall pregnant you are unable to breastfeed and I personally think every mother should experience at least 5 minutes of that. Good luck for the future and hope all works out for you x
