Im 30wks and seems like im always out of breath. Even when im just laying down, i have to keep changing position so i can get some air. Anyone else with this? What can i do about this? I heard some people say their iron was low, but is that something drs check for without me asking?

becky-135 - 105 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if it is your baby just taking up space, it should feel a little better once he/she drops. it did with me.

Spike - 105 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) this late in pregnancy you would have to ask him to cheack it, they realy only cheack it early pregnancy. do you have asmtha? i got terrible asthma with my son, i had gone like 8 years without an attack and then from about 25 weeks on it was hard to breath and i needed to take my ventilin alot just to get enough air for us both. the feeling of breathlessness can also simply be caused by the fact that your growing baby is pushing all yuor organs up into your chest squashing your lungs and making it feel like you cant get enoug air because your lungs cannot inflate to their regular size. when you are feeling perticularly starved of oxygeon, try sitting or standing up stait (slouching will make it worse) and take in some long deep breaths. if you pant or hasten the pase of your breathing it will make you hyperventalate and yuo will feel even more deprived of oxygeon.
