This book is a must read! Its full of positive birthing stories that will empower you and make you know and feel in your soul that not only will you and can you birth your baby, everything will be alright. I loved her book and went through 10cm of labor with no pain control but N.Gas. I ended up in surgery as my baby had so much meconium and was breech but, i loved being in labor even though it was painful.

after the birth everything is just wonderfull! i was in labour for 73 hours and none of it mattered once my son was in my arms! the sound of him crying was the greatest sound i had ever heard (that changes after a few months, lol) i was just so happy he was hear and we were both ok! enjoy the first few weeks, they are so precious and they dont last for long! before you know it your "baby" is gone and you have a toddler!

Just get rest when the baby does and don't stress about the dirty house or the fact that you are eating take away for every meal for those first few days. Enjoy that special bonding time with your baby. Even when you think you are too tired to go on any more, somehow you find the energy. Those first few weeks are so precious, enjoy them and take lots of photos cause they zoom by.

Everything will be fine! The minute you hold that precious babe in your arms you will totally have forgotten all the discomforts of pregnancy and pains of labor and be completely and totally in LOVE with your little one! It's amazing---I don't even remember being tired those first few weeks---I was just so in love with my both my children that I literally enjoyed 2 am feedings! Crazy, I know, but true!

It is so worth it in the end. I was worried I would not be able to cope with getting up all the time, and I managed. My biggest piece of advice: Rely on other people. If the offer to watch the baby so you can take a nap, DO IT!! Let the little things in the house slide, and spend your time with your new baby.

Dont be worried. Childbirth yes its painful but when you hear your little cry for the first time and you hold him or her it is all worth it. I went through 10 hours of hard labor without any medication.. Motherhood is great. In the beginning its very tiring. But its still great. with my first I got nervous if he slept for more than a few hours. I would have to go and check on him. I still do that with my second child. He will be 2. If he sleeps for along time I have to make sure he is ok.. Dont worry at all you are going to be great!!

HI, I JUST WANTED TO LET U KNOW NOT TO BE WORRIED OR NERVOUS IN THE BEGINNING IT IS SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME ,I WAS 16 WHEN MY 1ST WAS BORN AND I LOVED EVERY SEC OF EVERYDAY WHEN SHE WAS SMALL AND IT GOES BY SO FAST.THE ONLY THING A PERSON REALLY HAS TO GET USED TO IS GETTING UP AT NIGHT BUT FOR ME I COULDNT SLEEP ANYWAY WHEN A NEWBORN IS IN THE HOUSE I HAD TO KEEP CHECKING ON HER AND NEVER SLEPT TO DEEP CAUSE I WAS AFRAID I WOULDNT WAKE UP TO HER CRIES. SO DONT WORRY U WILL ADJUST TO WHATEVER THE BABY NEEDS OF U.

labor is the hardest but most rewarding work you will ever go through, just keep in mind getting to finally see your new baby! i would say the first month is the hardest trying to adjust, but take encouragemnt in those times by looking at the sweet innocent little angelic face of your newborn.that always made me melt, just seeing how tiny they are,how they smell, and looking into their eyes..its just precious. it will be tough, but just stay strong and know it will get better..youre gonna be a mommy!
