My Grandmother`s name is Dorothy and she has been begging for someone to name their child after her. We are very close and I would love to use her name, as the middle name. But Dorothy doesn`t roll off the tongue easy. Any suggestions for first names that sound good with Dorothy as the middle name? I came up with Alexis Dorothy. What do you think?

XIDJA - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I understand where you are coming from....I has decided to name our girl Kylee Ann until my sister passed away 2 weeks ago. Her middle name was Michelle so we decided to do Kylee Michelle it still sounds good but its not the name I would've chosen I guess. It just depends on how much it means to YOU to name her after your grandma.

RobinG - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Jessalynn Dorothy, Brielle Dorothy, Anna.. Carlie... Alexis, Olivia :) I think any names goes ~ since the middle name is rarely ever used I really dont think how it sounds/rolls will matter much anyhow ~ the meaning behind it will make it a perfect match!!

summerisis - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Isabelle Dorothy - Abigail Dorothy -

09momma - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) kailynn dororthy sounds pretty

Its-Chelle - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) with my 2nd daughter i wanted to have her middle name after my grandmother i had never met, her name was betty and i wasnt super fond of it, but i chose elizabeth, since i thought betty is a short version of that.i can see if youre firm on dorothy but another option is to use different versions of the name..like thea? or dorothea? but i think alexis sounds great with dorothy..
