Ok, so I understand that you can now have up to one year off of work now (not all paid), but that is about it. I know all companies have their own schemes etc but mine just seems to be the statutory pay. I don`t understand it. Does it mean you get 90% of your wage for the first 6 weeks then £112.00 for the remaining? when do you go onto no pay?

xbabybeanx - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm just finding out definatly myself but i understand that you get 90% for 39 weeks or 90% for 6 weeks and then £112 for the remaining weeks whichever is less. If you type maternity pay calculation into your search engine you should be able to find a site with a calculator and that should tell you what the guidlines are and give you a rogh estimate. Hope this helps x

mum2twins-yay - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think you get 6 weeks 90% pay and then 26 weeks smp.
