nope, only the doc can tell you that. as the others said its just measuring your hcg level its not that high tech to be able to tell you if you're having twins.

no, it just means you took the test later than your missed period. It means your blood has a lot of hcg in it. hcg number double every 24 hours and those levels are what makes the line appear.

I dont think that will indicate it, 50/50 chance I'd say ~ it measures hcg levels, the higher it is the darker it is yes but it can be darker even with single. My lines were all darker ~ and I never had twins. And depending on how many weeks you are the darker it may be ~ if you OV earlier in your cycle it may be darker too ~ lots of things can make it darker so if you do have twins the line will not be the way to know it, only an U/S can say for sure. Unless of course you have fetility drugs and there is a good chance on multiples and you tested the day your period was due there may be a chance since it is so dark ~ ya never know ~ If you know the HCG #'s specifically that could tell too since it will be drastically higher ~

Im not sure, but I wouldnt base it just on that. My line was so faint this time I wasnt even sure if it counted as a positive and I am preggo with twins. you could always get your hcg levels checked to see if they are higher than average. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!
