I went to the hospital Monday, and was told I was in early labor... still no big changes and it is Friday... I feel a little more pressure and more uncomfortable.. could the nurse have been wrong??

early labour can last up to 2 weeks, if your waters have broken then you should be induced and the baby shuld be born before 48 hours after the rupture as any longer risks infection. if your membranes are in tact then you just have to wait till your body is ready, some take longer than other, every body is different.

I agree with the first comment. If you are feeling pressure then you may have progressed more since Monday. It wouldnt hurt to get checked again.

I would try again...if you're starting to feel more pressure and more uncomfortable you may have progressed. Call your Dr, tell them the situation and ask if you should go in again. It doesn't hurt to get checked out to see if you've dilated more since Monday. It isn't unheard of to take a few days in the beginning to get a regular contraction pattern and to start dilating. Good luck!
