I am thinking about getting my tubes tied after this baby but want to know if there are any bad side effects and as I have learned doctors don`t always tell you everything. Thanks in advance!

Its-Chelle - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had my tubes tied and never noticed anything different but that my periods being a bit heavier..other than that have noticed nothing.i got it done after i had my son and felt great.it was done through my navel..i was scared at first of getting put to sleep, i had myself all worked up..but it was all done so fast, and i even went home a few hrs later..

momof3 - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have been told that you can have heavier periods afterwards! But there is something called an ablation that you can have done after you have your tubes tied and your periods will stop completly! I have also been told that is alot easier on a man than it is for a woman. And other women have also said that sometimes you experience a mild depression because you can no longer have children. I have been thinking about it as well but haven't been able to get up the nerve to do it yet! So I have been asking all the women I know that has and all of them are saying all of the above!

aringer1 - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am not sure, but I know two girls that had their tubes tied recently, and they are fine, they were back at work in no time. I am still scared to tho.. hubby agreed to get fixed instead as it is less healing time or soemthing.. but I did hear that they dont do it like they used to. I know a man can be reversed and a woman cant.. this is all hear say.. but I hear it is much better these days.

agonzales - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hmm I wondered the same thing. I thought about getting my tubes tied but kinda scared to and not sure yet. Ive read that some ladies still feel the pain where there tubes are and I dont want to go through that. Sorry Im not being much help but I'll be sure to come back and see what the other ladies responses are.
