EVERY TIME that ive visited my midwife lately...i have measured 2 weeks too small...but by all of my ultrasounds, my due date is correct. is this normal 2 be 2 inches off everytime?? am i having a small baby?? just curious.

Baby3onWay - 97 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it has nothing to do with the size of your baby. I am on number three and with my last pregnancy I measured 2 off from 24 weeks on... my due date stayed the same and I actually went two weeks early and still had a 7lb 7 oz baby boy... this is my third and I AGAIN am measureing about 1-2 off but I'm not concerned and I don't think you should be either... we are all different with different bodies. Hang in there and don't stress it!

shilah - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was measuring small for awhile too but it look lik ei am now measurig right on this week so there is time for you to catch up :)

Debra - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Measuring is not very accurate. Neither are u/s after 10 weeks. THey cannot accurately determine the weight or size of your baby. If you had an u/s in the beginning of your pregnancy (before 10 weeks) that is the most accurate for dating your pregnancy. Please visit my VIP site- i have lots of tips from seasoned mommies on there about pregnancy, labor, packing, breastfeeding and buying for baby.

courtlyn - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The mesurments, are the same for every women so of course not everyone is going to be excatly that size...you might just have a smaller framed body...it's nothing to worry about as long as your baby keeps his/her mesurements up!

Jadedpoet - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My Dr's office kept saying my belly was measuring 20 something weeks from the outside but at the time I was like 30 weeks I believe. edThey kept saying I was underweight so I ate what I could but never seem to get bigger. Frustrated, I finally got an ultrasound at 32 weeks after I was still measuring small from my belly and they realized it was just the way I was carrying the baby. She actually weighed more than expected and her head was measuring at 33 weeks not 32. So don't stress, it usually all in how you carry the baby, outside measurements aren't that accurate. :-)

xxmama3xx - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I know what your saying. I am having my 3rd baby and he weigs in at 6 pounds 4 ounces right now and we have a week left due to a csection but when she measures me I am only measuring 32 weeks instead of 37 weeks. :) Your baby is healthy and good...I promise. you might have like a 6 pd or 7pd baby which is good.,....:) :)

Allioop - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Measuring your belly is just a way of "guess"timating how big the baby will be. It's not an exact science...more importantly they will want to see that you are getting bigger which it sounds like you are. So don't worry!

RobinG - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Just a smaller baby :) Every baby comes in different shapes and sizes ~ measurements are only estimates. If the baby was showing an unusual size they would say there was a concern ~ some Full term babies are 6 lbs some are 10, lol.
