Breakthrough Bleeding with Birth Control

I was prescribed BC pills this month to try and regulate my cycle. I had been bleeding for over 2 months straight and the doc prescribed a low dose BC pill... take it twice a day for no more than 5 days and then finish out the rest of the pack with a regular 1 a day dose. Well I went the 5 days with 2 pills (the doc said the bleeding should stop within 3 days but there was still a little bit on the 4th and 5th so I continued the 2/day.) Well today I only took one pill and this morning things seemed fine... but I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was light pink... I don`t know what to do... I don`t know what is going on. I feel like my uterus is full... I`m scared and I`m going crazy. I researched breakthrough bleeding and it`s supposed to be a common side effect of BC. Has anyone experienced this while on BC?? Please help me out.. .Thanks in advance.
