I am about to have my son in a week and I wanna breastfeed and bottlefeed but unsure what formula I should use? Does anyone have any suggestions ??

summerisis - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I use Nestle Good Start. But remember that when you feed your baby formula, you're decreasing your own milk supply so you'll want to pump to keep your supply up. (The more that is demanded from your body, the more you produce!) Have you considered pumping and using breast milk for bottle feedings?

gabmommy - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree with the other mommies, it really depends on your baby which formula they will tolerate. However, my first two children I did breast and bottle feed and they both took similac or parent's choice from Wal-Mart. My third baby though I decided to to exclusively breast feed and she is soooo much happier and her digestive system is not messed up like her brothers would get (gas, constipation, really stinky). So, my actual recommendation would be to not use formula if you can help it. Your breast milk is sooo perfect for your baby and you don't have to worry about allergies or the right amount, just a suggestion from my experience. Good luck and be blessed!

cantchacitsme - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i am a firm supporter of carnation, its the only formula that didnt make my kids sick

agonzales - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first 2 kids I used enfamil. This time around I plan to breast and bottle. Im on wic so I believe they started using similac.. not sure how good it is.

BBno3 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I did the same with my 1st & 2nd babies & plan to breast & bottle feed with baby #3 as well. With baby #1 we used Enfamil but with baby #2 we used the parents choice formula and it worked just as well & was a lot less expensive. I think I will shoot for the parents choice brand again this time around. It really all depends on what type of formula your baby needs and/or can tolerate.

Its-Chelle - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i used similac at first, but after a while it got soooo expensive, eventually i started buying the parents choice from walmart..my son did well with both..some babies dont though..
