Implanon Birth Control Method

Hi girls, I am thinking of using the Implanon Birth control method, has anyone heard of it, please let me know if is a good method, any side effects, any one using it, if so how is it? My doctor said it does not causes gain weight which is my major concern really, so if anyone using it or has used it before please clarify this for me. thanks in advance! Yesenia

chiquiz8 - 84 days ago Thanks girls for the info, I went and had my implanon two days ago, didnt hurt, but I was very nervous. So far so good, the only thing is it kind of hurst still but not too much and is bruised but dr. said it will go away in a couple of days. So hopefully everything goes well.

mummychell - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hiya i also have had this implant twice and have never had any problems with it infact once i have had this baby i will have it replaced again it sure takes the hassle out of remembering to take tablets, it didnt make me pt on any weight at all, i also know loads of friend who have it too and none have reported any problems hope this helps hunni

laura14 - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hey im using this,it didnt really hurt me cos i got the anaesthetic but it throbbed for a day or so. the only problem i have had is some zits at the time of th emonth:( not nuch and they only last a few days luckily lol! my periods were heavy at first and very painful but there ok now, i think it was just my body getting back on track after the birth:)as for weight gain i have put on weight but thats all my own doing not the implanon LOL

sibandtwins - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hiya, i had the implanon, and i didnt put on any weight. it does hurt when they put it in as it is just under the surface of skin. i had it for a year, worked great, no periods either!! didnt have any side effects. you do get a little scar when its gone tho! hope this helps xx
