Bleeding after a c-section

Can you tell me how long you bled after haveing a c-section i had mine 2 wks ago and stop for a couple of days and now ive seemed to start again is this normal???

Debra - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes, especially depending on what you are doing. If you are lifting heavy objects or trying to do too much, you can start bleeding more. I bled heavy for the first 1-2 weeks and then lightly with some heavy times in there for the next 2 weeks. Then it was very light and brown for 2-3 weeks after that. Everyone is different, but as long as you aren't passing large clots or soiling more than 1 heavy pad over a few hours, you should be ok. If you start feeling dizzy or light headed, please go to see your doc.

moms the word - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I bled for only a week or so after my cesarean then had irregular periods for a few months before I went back to my normal cycle. As long as you are not having intense pain or large blood clots then you should be ok.
