I have looked online for methods to incease my milk supply while breastfeeding my one month old daughter and came across a website (motherlove.com) and I see supplements that I can take that is supposed to increase your milk supply. Has anyone used these product and did it work?

fenugreek works, but all of your body fluids will smell like maple syrup... also talk to your doctor about reglan - that worked for me with my daughter.

havnt ever used any prduct to increase my milk nut i found that getting a breast pump and at the end of a feed when your baby has had enough just express out anything thats left and if nothing comes out the just keep doing it for a minit or so as this will stimulate your breasts to make more milk, by tricking them into thinking that the baby is still hungry! also this is great to prevent mastitis! another thing to try if you need to be making more milk is to drink plenty of water, your body wont make as much milk as it could if you dont have enough water in your system to do so, your body will put the needs of itself before the needs of the baby as it no longer has to look after you both.

When I was breastfeeding my last baby, I had a drop in milk supply at one point. My lactation consultant recommended an herbal tea (available at the grocery store in the natural foods/supplements section) for nursing mothers. I drank it as directed, and it really did help.
