i`m at 17 weeks and still waiting patiently to feel the first movements.. i know some people don`t feel it until 18-22 weeks, but i`ve seen so many blogs of ppl feeling it by now..and i`m not overweight..all the books say it may take longer to feel it if you`re overweight.. is anyone else still waiting???

Like you, I haven't felt a thing. I lay still every morning and try to feel something but nope...not yet.

I am 20 weeks and I just started feeling my baby girl kick a couple days ago and I am tiny. So, I think it depends on the baby's position.

it could also be that your placenta is growingon the front of your womb making it harder to feel your babies movements. it is not abnormal to not feel movement before 20 weeks and sometimes longer, but i know it can be so tedius waiting to feel those first movements. i had to wait till 19 weeks to feel Luka and it was still another 4 weeks before my husband could feel him move cause my placenta grew at the front and it was muffling his movements.

Im from week 39 and i didnt feel my son until i was 23 weeks!! There were times i thought it was him but wasnt entirely sure. By 24 weeks i knew what was him and what was just normal stomache stuff. At 39 weeks he doesn't stop moving i dont even remember what its like to not feel anything lol.

I am overweight and I've been feeling the baby kick since I was about 16-17 weeks. He started moving around 12-13 weeks. I think the doctors might be off on my dates tho. I find out in 3 days if they are.

I'm also 17 weeks and only once or twice have I felt something that may have been movement... I couldn't be sure. Anyway, I've probably gained a few more pounds during the pregnancy than I should have, but I wouldn't really consider myself overweight... Maybe I don't feel it yet because I'm still having nausea and morning sickness? I don't know. The baby was moving like crazy during my last ultrasound though... so I know it's most likely a pretty active one.

I'm still waiting, and I'm 19 weeks on Wednesday. This is my third baby, and this is the latest I've waited to feel movement (and I know what I'm waiting to feel), although since I get ultrasounds several times a week we can see her moving so we know she is...
