Hi ladies, I`m 35wks and I have been getting awful pain in my pubic area when I walk, its so bad today I was nearly in tears making the bed! Last night I had the weirdest sensation down there, lots of movement in my pubic area and what I am sure was movement right at the bottom of my vagina. I had my Dr appt last Friday and he didn`t mention I had dropped or if baby was engaged. What do you think this is? Does it sound like bubs is engaged or starting to engage? I don`t look like I have dropped in photos... This is bubba #2....Thanks in advance. :)

Debra - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) have you tried wearing a maternity belt? it can help you to lift up your abdomen and give you support. It should help with the pubic bone pain when you walk.

Rhonda Lynn - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It could be your pelvic ligaments beginning to loosen for delivery. It can cause pain as your pelvic bones can now shift around as you walk. I was one of the unlucky few that had this happen much earlier in my pregnancy. ( around 19 wks) It is just your hormones doing their job.

allioop - 53 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It definitely sounds to me like the baby has dropped and his head is putting pressure on your pelvic floor. Did you have your first baby early? This baby may or may not be born early but don't worry, by 35 weeks everything is well developed and the chances of problems are slim. Unfortunately you might just be uncomfortable for the next few weeks! Good luck!
