So I`ll be 16 weeks tomorrow and I`m very excited, but I`[m not gaining any weight at all :( My BF thinks its because I stress a lot which I do, but my Dr. said it might me do to me working on my feet everyday, (I`m a Server). So my Dr. wants to wait until my next appt. in Aug. to see if I gain any weight but I picked up more hours at work and that of course brings on more stress. It`s been 2 weeks and I haven`t gained anything. Should I start to worry or start doing less hours at work?? I need some advice...

I didn't gain anything really until the end of my 2nd trimester...I was even worried enough to bring it up to my doc and she smiled and said don't worry it will happen...well...now I'm a healthy 27 pounds heavier...note I said healthy..not happy! The extra weight is making me miserable! My poor back!

depends also on how much you weighed to begin with. Overweight women will not gain as much and may in fact loose weight while thin women will gain 60-70lbs to get to a healthy weight. If you are eating a healthy diet and feel your abdomen growing and your baby moving, then dont' worry. Also, stop by my VIP site and read it. It will help you prepare for the rest of this ride!

As long as you are eating well I wouldn't worry about it. Serving is good exercise and is helping you stay in shape. If your doc isn't worried about it u shouldn't be either. Some people don't gain weight for awhile.

Wait until your next appointment, as weight gain can pick up around week 20. He is best to decide what you should do. If you are really worried see if you can see your doctor earlier. Just try and relax and make sure you are eating well and healthy.
