I`m 31 weeks and the past two weeks it`s hard to do normal day to day things because I become SOOO EXHAUSTED. I`ve been so active my entire pregnancy and all of a sudden it came to a hault!! I don`t like being home but now I find myself not being able to get out of bed. Is this normal? I have a dr appt tomorrow and I was thinking about bringing it up.

Have your Dr. check iron levels too---sometimes you can become anemic during a pregnancy and that can contribute to fatigue. But most likely it's just that third trimester! You're carrying around more weight and your body is burning more calories faster and trying to hold on to all the energy it can for impending birth. Try to take it easy and listen to your body---it tells us we're tired for a reason!!!
P.S. I just saw that you are a vegetarian so I would definitely get your iron levels checked. Being vegetarian through pregnancy is absolutely fine (I was through my first one) but it's really important to make sure you eat a well balanced diet to make up for the lack of protein and iron and B-12 found in meat products. B-12 and iron both are sort of energy "boosters" and having low levels can really make you tired. I took iron supplements through both of my pregnancies (although I ate meat with the 2nd one, I'm still not a big meat eater) and it does help. So tell your Dr. about the fatigue and that you don't eat meat and ask if iron could be a contributing factor to your fatgiue.

Yep, I agree with Spike and Jennifer. Welcome to the 3rd trimester!! The most tiring of all. :) Your body is working over-time, even when you're not doing anything at all. You've got so much going on and the count down is on. Bring it up with your dr. and (like Spike said) don't fight it, close your eyes and rest whenever you can.

bring it up at the drs but it is perfectly normal, its just your bodys way or storing up some energy for the impending birth. If you do feel very tied dont fight it! have a rest, or just sit down for a bit, if you overtire yourself it can cause extra stress for your body and your baby and even cause pre term labour. Make sure your doc cheacks your blood pressure and your blood sugar as imbalences with thease can cause fatige.
